Wisconsin gets new, less gerrymandered election maps

Wisconsin has historically been the site of some awful gerrymandering; while the state as a whole tilts Democratic, the state legislative districts were constructed to give Republicans a supermajority. That changed after the statewide election of a state Supreme Court justice that tipped the court balance liberal. Now the state district lines have been redrawn, the legislature is forecast to be ”up for grabs”, and the Republicans are crying bloody murder. Chalk it up as a win for democracy!
