So reports Axios. The question, of course, is who gets to decide what “political” content is? There’s more than one way to put your thumb on the scale…

The Men who Practice Against Caitlin Clark
Continuing the Hawkeye basketball theme today, I loved this article from The Athletic about the men who run as the practice squad against the Hawkeye women. Mostly former high school players, these guys study and emulate upcoming opposition players to help the women’s team prepare. And get run ragged doing it.
With all eyes on Caitlin Clark, Stuelke erupts for 47
With Caitlin Clark dominating the college basketball news, Penn State had a plan when they faced the Hawkeyes last night — a plan that involved double- and triple-teaming Clark every time she touched the ball. An amazing performance.
Princeton University Press sale!
Princeton University Press has the annual sale going, up to 75% off on a whole bunch of books. I am doing my best to resist, but historically I usually end up caving and buying 8 or 10 at a time.
Kyle Shanahan is always watching
San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan has the building wired for video and sound, a practice he picked up from his father, NFL coach Mike Shanahan. The players and assistant coaches sound like it’s just a normal thing, but… yikes.
Sternke: Repentance as Economic Redistribution
Father Ben Sternke with a fun insight in his newsletter today:
What fruit would indicate we are participating in preparing for God’s salvation to arrive?
John the Baptist’s first answer to this question is economic redistribution: “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food to share should do the same.” He goes on to tell tax collectors and soldiers to stop practicing extortion and injustice.
ESPN, Fox, and Warner to create a sports streaming bundle
ESPN, Fox, and Warner announced they are creating a unified sports streaming bundle that will be available later this year. Notably missing: NBC. Still, 95% of what we watch on live TV is sports... and I can get OTA channels via my networked tuner. Maybe an option to ditch YouTubeTV? Time will tell I guess.
